Monty’s Bar & Kitchen
You’ll always find a warm welcome, at Monty’s Bar & Kitchen. We are open to everyone, whether you fancy just a drink, a light lunch, pub meal, a tasty Sunday Roast, or an Afternoon Tea – we literally have everything covered!
Our bar serves a great selection of drinks, including Real Ales*, and we are open every day from 10am with food available from 12pm. Our kitchen and bar closing times vary throughout the week. Camra membership discount available.
You can sit in the comfort of Monty’s, or in the warmer months, on the outdoor terrace, overlooking 36 acres of grounds. We are a well behaved dog-friendly venue and have a few local walks in the area if your pooch, or you need to stretch your legs.
Most weekdays, we have deals and specials including Happy Hour (10% off drinks for non-members/20% members) Mon to Fri 5pm to 6:30pm, Kids Eat Free Tuesday, Wednesday Burger & Free Drink, Thursday Quiz & Curry Night, and Fish & Chip Friday. T&C’s do apply with these.
If you are eating in, or would like an Afternoon or Cream Tea with us, you can use our online booking system to pre-book a table in Monty’s Bar & Kitchen.

Although walk-in’s are always welcome, if you wish to dine in and eat from our main menu, pre-booking online is advisable.
To pre-book a table of ten guests or more for today or tomorrow, please contact us by phone on 01923 243947 or email to check availability. You are unable to pre-book or reserve outdoor seating.
Our Afternoon Teas are £19.95 per person and Cream Tea £9.95 per person, served Monday to Friday, 12pm to 5pm and must be pre-booked online with at least two days’ notice of your visit to ensure our kitchen team has time to prepare the perfect experience for you.
