The club has nurtured and produced many Test and County Cricketers of excellent quality throughout the years. The two famous servants to have played Tests for England in the recent past are Angus Fraser and Mark Ramprakash and are still keen to don the flannels for the club when free.
Peshwa CC was formed in August 2002 by a handful of very keen, passionate and enthusiastic club cricketers that originate from Maharashtra – a mid west state in India. Maharashtrian cities such as Mumbai (formerly Bombay), Pune, Nagpur have generated talented cricketers for the National team and what started as a friendly beer match at Kenton CC on the 18th August 2002 continues to grow – we currently run two sides in the Middlesex League playing regular Saturday cricket. Age, race/ religion and abilities are not the membership criteria – enthusiasm to learn the game and comradeship are the key factors.
