As one of the best dog friendly pubs in Hertfordshire, named after our most regular four legged customer, a Wire Haired Dachshund, we are the ideal spot to visit after a local walk. In the warmer months, you can also relax on our terrace overlooking 36 acres of grounds.
We are a much loved family pub in Hertfordshire, with a kids menu and an outdoor kids’ play area that keeps little ones happy. For the grown ups, it also makes it a great place to watch live sport, save on drinks with our weekday after work Happy Hour, join our Quiz and Curry Night or come along for our entertainment evenings.
