Event Ticket Terms & Conditions – FAQ
Thank you for booking event tickets for Metropolitan Bushey. We both need a contract so that your rights and our rights are protected. We have tried to make these as brief and clear as possible.
Buying Tickets
Tickets should only be purchased through metropolitanbushey.co.uk or approved third-party ticketing sites such as Eventbrite or Skiddle.
Tickets bought elsewhere — especially on Facebook — may be invalid or counterfeit, and we may not be able to assist if there is an issue.
We strongly recommend avoiding private resales. If you choose to sell or buy from someone you know personally, please ensure the ticket is sold for the same amount it was purchased for or less. We cannot verify or replace privately purchased tickets.
What’s Included in My Ticket?
Each event page clearly lists what your ticket includes, such as entertainment, seating, food, or drinks.
Ticket prices include 20% VAT.
There is a £1.20 booking fee (including VAT) per order when purchased from metropolitanbushey.co.uk.
Booking fees vary on third-party sites such as Eventbrite or Skiddle.
All fees will be shown before you complete your purchase.
Refunds & Exchanges
As with most ticketed venues, we’re unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or ticket transfers.
We understand this may be disappointing, but these conditions ensure fairness and allow us to run events sustainably.
Event Changes
Occasionally, event details may change — including line-ups, timings, or programme content. Your ticket remains valid, and refunds are not offered for programme changes.
Event Cancellation or Rescheduling
If an event is cancelled, we may offer a refund of the ticket face value or move the event to a new date. If the event is rescheduled, your ticket will automatically transfer and remain valid.
Booking fees are non-refundable.
Outdoor Events – Weather Conditions
Our outdoor events are rain or shine. If weather affects the event, updates will be posted on our website and social channels. We’re unable to offer refunds, exchanges, or ticket transfers.
Seating & Table Allocation
For events with allocated seating or tables, we will do our best to seat groups together. Seating plans may change depending on operational needs. Requests for specific tables or locations cannot be guaranteed.
Essential Personal Assistance (EPA) Tickets
We partner with Nimbus Access Card and offer a complimentary EPA ticket for guests who require essential support to attend an event where food or drink are not included in the ticket price.
To request your EPA ticket refund, please purchase your tickets as normal, then email info@metropolitanbushey.co.uk with:
- Your order number
- The Access Card holder’s name
- The Access Card number
If you don’t have an Access Card:
You can apply for:
- A free Digital Access Pass for use at Metropolitan Bushey
- Or a full Access Card (£15 for 3 years) recognised nationwide at thousands of venues
More accessibility information is available on our website.
